Growing up on the coastal plains of North Carolina, Scott spent every waking hour learning tournament bass fishing. In between competing in weekend tournaments, his family would travel to the Florida Keys. Scott was exposed to saltwater fly fishing and offshore fishing at a young age. From then on, for the next 20 years, Scott stalked bonefish, tarpon and permit on the flats. He later met his wife Lindsay in Charleston, South Carolina, where they chased tailing redfish on the spartina flats together. In 2013 they relocated to Destin, Florida where they enjoyed world class redfish, speckled trout and various other game fish with their 2 year old son. For the past 4 years, Scott has been fishing in remote locations around the world, learning about different fish, cultures and environments. In 2019 Scott and his family will be going back to their roots in the Florida Keys, with the passion of taking other people fishing.
